Philip was born on October 22nd, 1828 in Middleton, Warwickshire, England.  Philip's father was Mr William Jennings and his mother was Ms Sarah Briggs.  His paternal grandparents were Mr Philip Jennings and Ms Julia Jennings. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Robert, Sarah and Julia.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 23 on April 4th, 1852 in Middleton, Warwickshire, England.
