Isobel was born on July 7th, 1791.1  Isobel's father was Mr William Auld and her mother was Ms Isobel Manson.  Her paternal grandparents were Mr William Auld and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, William, Jean, Margaret and Helen.  She was the third youngest of the six children.
