Tom was born in 1856 in Hunslet.1  Tom's father was JOHN ROLLISSON and his mother was Jane Ann Scaife.  His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM ROLLISSON and MARY. He had a brother and a sister, named James and Mary.  He was the oldest of the three children.
