Frank was born on January 14th, 1877 in Honolulu.1  Frank's father was Henry Waterhouse and his mother was Julia Hawkins Dimond.  His paternal grandparents were Rev John Thomas Waterhouse and Eleanor Dickenson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Albert, Eleanor and Mary Stangenwald.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 1 on April 3rd, 1878.1
