Eliza was born in 1848. Eliza's father was Joseph George Waterhouse and her mother was Eliza Shaw.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Waterhouse and Leah Torner; her maternal grandparents were John Shaw and Phoebe. She had a half-brother named Joseph.  She died at the age of 24 on July 11th, 1872.
