Eleanor, known as Ellen, was born in 1839.  Ellen's father was Rev John Thomas Waterhouse and her mother was Eleanor Dickenson.  Her paternal grandparents were Rev John Waterhouse and Jane Beadnell Skipsey. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, William, William, Emma, Mary and Mary.  She died at the age of 25 on May 6th, 1864 in Honolulu, Oahu, Hi.
