SAMUEL was born before 1748 and his baptism took place on February 28th, 1748 in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex, England.  SAMUEL's father was RICHARD WOOD and his mother was ANN. He had a brother named RICHARD.  He was the younger of the two children.
