Jemima was born in 1830 and her baptism took place on April 4th, 1830 in Uny Lelant Cornwall.^1 2

Jemima's father was Clement Uren and her mother was Alice Harris.  Her paternal grandparents were Clement Uren and Amy Wearn. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Clement, Henry, William, Richard, Amy, Ann, Alice and Jane.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
