Ambrose was born in 1641 and his baptism took place on October 27th, 1641 in Wells next the sea. Ambrose's father was Robert Thacker and his mother was Rebecka. He had two brothers and two sisters, named [T]h[o], John, Amye and Barbary. He was the third oldest of the five children.
