Alfred Steer

Alfred was born in 1849 and his baptism took place on October 19th, 1849 in Petworth, Sussex.¹   Alfred's father was Thomas Steer and his mother is <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were William Steer and Anne Merriott; his maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his maternal grandmother was Rhoda Berry. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Charles, William, Mary and Jane.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died on November 4th, 1849 in Petworth, Sussex.¹
