Ronald was born in 1930. Ronald's father was Arthur Henry Nevard and his mother was Annie Louisa Evans.  His maternal grandfather was Henry George Evans. He had two brothers named Douglas and Reginald. He had a half-brother named William.  He died at the age of 76 in 2006.
