William Letts

William was born on January 8th, 1806 and his baptism took place on May 25th, 1806 in Saint John The Baptist, Croydon, Surrey.¹   William's father was Thomas Letts and his mother was Elisabeth. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Henry, Sarah, Elizabeth, Maria and Harriot.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.
