Mary was born in 1735 in Denham and her baptism took place on October 30th, 1735.1 Mary's father was John Kedge and her mother was Sarah Green. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Kedge and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Ann and Mary. She was the second oldest of the five children.
