Thomas was born in 1800 and his baptism took place on February 9th, 1800 in Exeter Saint Thomas The Apostle. Thomas' father was Silas Gibson and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gibson and Frances Norman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Jane, Mary and Fanny.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died in 1800.  He was buried on February 16th, 1800 in Exeter Saint Thomas The Apostle.
