Grace was born on October 5th, 1920 in Liverpool Lancs.¹

Grace's father was David Benjamin Evans and her mother was Mary Ethel Leyland Marsh. Her paternal grandfather was Henry George Evans. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Sam, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, Betty, Vivienne and <Unknown>. She died at the age of 52 on September 2nd, 1973 in Walton Hospital.¹¹
