Christina's father was William Dow and her mother was Ann Adams.  Her paternal grandparents were George Dow and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were George Adams and Charlotte. She had a brother and three sisters, named George, Annie, Eliza and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 46 on November 22nd, 1917 in St Pancras, Middlesex.²
