Susan was born in 1834 and her baptism took place on May 18th, 1834 in Northwold, Norfolk.1 Susan's father was Thomas Clark and her mother was Ann Gayford. She had four sisters named Esther, Marria, Caroline and Susan. She was the second youngest of the five children.
