John Rippon Bellman

John was born on January 21st, 1839 and his baptism took place on March 31st, 1839 in Saint Anne Soho, Westminster.¹   John's father was Charles Bellman and his mother was Elizabeth. He had four brothers and a sister, named Charles, George, Frederick, Henry and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
