William Steer

William was born on July 29th, 1810 in Petworth and his baptism took place there on October 14th, 1810.¹

William's father was William Steer and his mother was Anne Merriott. He had three brothers and a sister, named George, Thomas, James and Jane.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 27 in 1837.  He was buried on October 5th, 1837 in Petworth.²
