Richard Steer

Richard was born before 1761 and his baptism took place on April 26th, 1761 in Modbury Devon.¹   Richard's father was Richard Steer and his mother was Elizabeth Burring.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Steer and Grace Beer. He had a brother and two sisters, named Henry, Elizabeth and Betty.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
