John Steer

John was born in 1828 and his baptism took place on November 30th, 1828 in Wisborough Green, Sussex.^1 2

John's father was William Steer and his mother was Mary Tickner.  His maternal grandparents were John Tickner and Mary Pellett. He had two brothers and a sister, named James, Esau and Mary.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, George, Eliza and Ann.
