Fanny was born in 1877. Fanny's father was William Steer and her mother was Sarah.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Emma steer. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, Frank, Martha, Emma and Alice.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
