Rosa M was born about 1854 in Somerset.1   Rosa M's father was Henry STERR and her mother was Catherine STERR. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Harry W, Alice E, Kate E, Lucy H and Fanny L.  She was the oldest of the seven children.
