Frederick B was born about 1883 in Stoke, Staffordshire.1   Frederick B's father was George H STEERS and his mother was Frances E STEERS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George R, Alfred E, Sydney, Mabel M, Connie E and Vera W.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
