Fanny was born about 1871 in Croydon Surrey.1   Fanny's father was Thomas STEERS and her mother was Sarah Collins.  Her maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Lizzie and Emily C.  She was the oldest of the four children.
