Ellen Flora was born about 1879 in Whitchurch, Dorset.1   Ellen Flora's father was William STEERS and her mother was Sarah Ann STEERS. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George William, Frederick, Alice Mary and Emma.  She was the youngest of the five children.
