Edith Hannah was born about 1871 in Shipley, Yorkshire.1   Edith Hannah's father was James STEERS and her mother was Ann STEERS. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Walter Ernst, Lilley, Paulina and Beatrice Mary.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
