Fanny was born about 1858 in Nuthurst Sussex.1   Fanny's father was Walter STEERE and her mother was Mary A STEERE.  Her maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and her maternal grandmother was Mary MIDDLEMAS. She had a sister named Mary E.  She was the younger of the two children.
