Eva was born about 1871 in Bridlington Quay Yorkshire.1   Eva's father was Lee Steere STEERE and her mother was Margaret STEERE. She had six sisters named Fideene Lee, Emily, Janet, Harriet, Margaret and Grace.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
