William Burnett was born in 1820 in Croydon Surrey.1   William Burnett's father was Thomas STEER and his mother was Catharine Maria STANYON. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Alfred, Edwin William, Frederick James, Edwin, Alfred William, Charles Benjamin, George, Emma Maria, Maria Catharine and Sabina Esther.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 3 in January 1823 in Croydon Surrey.  He was buried on January 5th, 1823 in St John the Baptist, Croydon, Surrey..2 1
