William STEER 
William was born on December 19th, 1784 in Croydon Surrey.1 William's father was George STEER and his mother was Ann WELLER. His paternal grandparents were William STEER and Martha RUSSEL. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named George Weller, Richard, George, Francis, George, James, John, Joseph, Ann, Mary, Martha Weller, Susanna and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.General Notes
