Thomas was born on July 25th, 1850 in India and his baptism took place on November 8th, 1850 in Agra.1 2   Thomas' father was Charles Steer and his mother is Caroline. He had a sister named Georgena.  He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Frederick, Edwin, Sophia and Alice.  Thomas is no longer alive.
