Sidney Edwin was born about 1892 in Torrington.1   Sidney Edwin's father was George STEER and his mother was Emily. He had four brothers and a sister, named Albert Earnest, Herbert William, Florrie Gladys, Alfred George and Edith Emily.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
