Sidney Edward was born about 1878 in Kennington.1   Sidney Edward's father was Henry STEER and his mother was Lucy Fanny STEER.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Arthur Benjamin, Charles Frederick, Mabel Annie and Lilian Minnie.  He was the oldest of the five children.
