Maud A was born about 1869 in St George Hanover Square, London.1   Maud A's father was Samuel William STEER and her mother was Mary Anne Whiting.  Her maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Leonard N, Sidney W and Ethel A.  She was the second youngest of the four children.
