Martha was born about 1845 in Bovey Tracey Devon.1   Martha's father was Joseph STEER and her mother was Ann STEER.  Her maternal grandfather was William STEER SR and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had two brothers named John and William.  She was the oldest of the three children.
