Margary was born about 1898 in Bugess Hill Sussex.1   Margary's father was Albert G STEER and her mother was Florence STEER. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Stanley, Frederick, Florence Olive and Daisy A.  She was the second oldest of the five children.
