Leonard Geo was born about 1893 in Lenton, Nottinghamshire.1   Leonard Geo's father was George STEER and his mother was Violetta Mary STEER. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jno Wm Vernon, Violetta Mary and Lilian Dorothy.  He was the oldest of the four children.
