James STEER

James was born in 1823 in Mitcham Surrey.¹   James' father was Richard STEER and his mother was Ann HICKSON. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, Richard, David, John, George, Henry, Thomas and Mary.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 3 in December 1826 in Mitcham Surrey.  He was buried on December 17th, 1826 in St Peter & St Paul, Mitcham, Surrey..^2 1
