Harry J was born about 1867 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.1   Harry J's father was Abraham STEER and his mother was Emma STEER. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles G, Earnest A, Alfred G and Annie M.  He was the oldest of the five children.
