Florrie was born about 1893 in Battersea Surrey.1   Florrie's father was Alfred Wm STEER and her mother was Martha STEER. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Christopher, Annie, Alice, Ada and Ivy.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.
