Elizabeth was born about 1892 in Kingswood, Surrey.1   Elizabeth's father was William E STEER and her mother was Mary A STEER. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Edward W, William S, Mary J, Ellen S, Sarah and Jane.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.
