Edward was born about 1883 in Limpsfield Surrey.1   Edward's father was James STEER and his mother was Sophia STEER.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and a sister, named Harvey, James and Dora.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
