Edward was born in 1748 in Burstow, Surrey.1   Edward's father was Thomas STEER and his mother was Sarah.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 72 in March 1820 in Lingfield Surrey.  He was buried on March 16th, 1820 in St Peter & St Paul, Lingfield, Surrey..2 1
