Daisy M was born about 1885 in Aldershot Hants.1   Daisy M's father was Dan STEER and her mother was Alice Stringer.  Her maternal grandfather was Alfred STRINGER and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Herbert D, Alfred E, Alice M M, Florence B and Violet E.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
