Charlie was born about 1884 in Wolborough with Newton Abbot, Devonshire.1   Charlie's father was Ebenezer STEER and his mother was Mary STEER.  His paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his paternal grandmother was Mary STEER. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Bessie A and Edith A.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
