George Charles was born about 1899 in Twins, Staffordshire, England.1   George Charles' father was Benjamin Yamar STEAR and his mother was Harriet Jane STEAR. He had three brothers named Benjamin James, Thomas Tamar and Robert Leslie.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
