Forrie was born about 1880 in Shepherd's Bush, London.1   Forrie's father was Alfred STEERS and her mother was Mary A SHEERS. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, George, Henry, Jesse, Christopher and Florence.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
