Jane's father was Thomas HOLLAMBY and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) STEER. Her maternal grandparents were William STEER and Mary ATHERFOLD. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Matilda and Maria. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 79 on August 24th, 1880 in Tandridge, Surrey..¹
