Sarah was born about 1847 in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.1   Sarah's father was George BUXTON and her mother was Hannah Stear.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert STEAR and Mary STEAR. She had a sister named Ellen.  She was the younger of the two children.
